Day 1: Arrival at the Entebbe International Airport – Uganda
Upon landing in Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your tour guide/driver who will transfer you to your Hotel in Kampala for relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight at Kampala Serene Hotel/Hotel Africana/ Hotel Ruch.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After having heavy breakfast at your Hotel in Kampala, you will meet our tour guide who will drive you to Fort portal town arriving in time for Lunch. After your lunch in Fort-Portal, you will visit the crater region then afterward continue to Kibale Forest National Park for dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee Guest House / Chimp Nest / Kibale Forest Camp / Primates Lodge / Ndali Lodge.
Day 3: Chimps Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
After having heavy morning breakfast at your lodge, you will go to the Park Headquarters of Kibale Forest National Park at Kanyachu for a briefing on rules and regulations while you’re on chimps tracking activity. Afterward, you will enter the park with the Ranger Guide in search the Chimpanzees which are Man’s closest Cousins. Kibale Forest home to about 12 species of primates incorporating the Chimpanzees, the red colobus, and L’hoests monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, Red Tailed Monkeys, baboons et cetera. You will encounter how the chimps feed and interact with one another. After this great activity you will return back to your hotel for lunch and toward the evening set out for the Nature walk in Bigodi swamp. Here nature stroll will reward you with the view of different bird species and also some primates. Bigodi swamp is well known as a bird watchers paradise due to the numerous bird species that can be watched in the swamp. Return back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your Lodge as on day 2.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After having breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The excursion will take you through the historical Kasese town with a clear perspective of the mountains of the Moon or the Rwenzori Mountain. As you enter the Park, you will enjoy a game drive en-route. Continue with your journey to Mweya for a guided nature stroll in the Maramagambo forest for primate watching and visits to the bat cave and the blue lake. You will have your dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Simba Safari Camp/Ihamba Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Game Drive and Launch Cruise
After having a heavy breakfast at the lodge, you will set out for the morning game drive in the Kasenyi area. Here pay special mind to animals, for example, the Lions, Buffaloes, Leopard, Elephants, Kobs, Antelopes and many more. Come back to your lodge for lunch and toward the evening, set out for the Launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This will give you the chance to view wildlife up close, for example, hippo’s huff and spray mere feet far from the boat, buffalo linger in the shallows. The shores of the channel are additionally home to several bird species incorporating pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others. Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After having a heavy breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park famously known as the Ishasha sector known for the rare tree climbing lions in Fig and acacia trees. Here you will see tree-climbing lions and also different animals in the sector. Continue with your journey to Bwindi National Park arriving in the evening. Have dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas/Gorilla Resort/gorilla Mist Camp/Nkuringo Gorilla Camp/wagtail Eco Safari Camp.
Day 7: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After early morning breakfast, you will then drive to the park headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing and direction of the activity. After this, you will be joined by equipped ranger guide in the forest to track for the Mountain Gorillas. You will penetrate through the forest, cutting the undergrowth, separating thick creepers, to track gorillas. The time taken to track the Gorillas is unpredictable since it depends on the movement of the gorillas in the quest for nourishment and shelter. Be that as it may, it can take from 2 to 9 hours. You will have a maximum of one hour with the gorillas and this will allow you to observe, take photos and interact with them. Return again to your lodge for dinner and overnight as on day 6.
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After having a heavy breakfast at the lodge, you will enjoy a community stroll around Buhoma then after that transfer to Lake Bunyonyi through of Kabale which is commonly known as the Switzerland of Africa. Lake Bunyonyi got its name from the numerous fowls that used to occupy the lake. The lake is the deepest in Uganda and the second deepest in Africa from Tanganyika. At your arrival, you will enjoy a boat cruise to the different Islands found on Lake Bunyonyi. After this trip, return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Arcadia Guesthouse / Bunyonyi Overland Camp / Bushara Island Camp.
Day 9: Full Day on Lake Bunyonyi
After a fully served breakfast at your lodge, you will enjoy a number of activities arranged on this day. You can choose to visit the local markets in Kabale and likewise the Bakiga Cultural Museum, visit the diverse dairy farms and plantations. You can also visit the Batwa community on one of the Islands for a cultural tour and historical experience of these shortest People on earth. After all these great activities, you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your Lodge as on day 8.
Day 10: Transfer to Rwanda
After having a heavy breakfast at your lodge, you will cross the border of Uganda to Rwanda at Cyanika border and drive to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. At your arrival you will visit Ruhengeri town and after that transfer to your hotel for unwinding for dinner and overnight at Kinigi Guesthouse/Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge.
Day 11: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park
After having breakfast at the lodge, you will go to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing on rules and regulations followed while you’re in the jungle with gorillas and Gorilla group allocation. After this, you will be accompanied by an experienced ranger guide and penetrate into the forest for a great gorilla trekking adventure. The gorilla trekking activity is somehow tiresome however once you meet the Gorillas, you will doubtlessly disregard all the hardships you experienced to see the Gorillas. Once your track and find these gentle giants you’re allowed to stay with them for a maximum of one hour which will give you a chance to observe them and take photographs. Then you will return to your lodge with a lot of gorilla trek memories for unwinding. In the evening, you can visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo for cultural encounters. After this, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kinigi Guesthouse/Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/le Bambou Gorilla Lodge.
Day 12: Transfer to Kigali
After enjoying your breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Kigali city for a short city tour visit the Genocide memorial sites, local markets, do last minute shopping and transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
