Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After having morning breakfast at the Hotel in Kampala, you will meet your tour guide who will drive you to Murchison Falls National Park through Masindi town where you have lunch from here you also visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a guided walk to see the Rhinos. After this, continue with the journey to Murchison Falls National Park through the Kichumbanyobo gate, at your arrival you will visit the Top of the falls where the Park got its name. Here you will see water exploding through a narrow gorge and streams down to turn into a peaceful stream whose banks are thronged with a variety of animals and bird species. After this, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Red Chili Campsite/Paraa Safari Lodge/Sambiya River Lodge/Nile Safari Camp.
Day 2: Game Drive and Launch Cruise
After Early morning breakfast embark on a game drive in the northern sector of the Murchison Falls National Park. The drive will reward you with a chance to see some of the big fiver animals like leopards, hyenas, lions, elephants, buffaloes and many other animals like jackals, Kob giraffe, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Antelopes and more. You will return back to the lodge to unwind as you wait for lunch and Boat cruise after lunch. This takes you to the base of the falls. This will provide a chance to view some water-loving animals like the crocodiles, buffalos, hippos and a number of bird species. Return back your lodge for dinner and overnight at your lodge as on day one.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After having heavy morning breakfast at your lodge as on day two, you will hit the road for a long drive from Murchison falls to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have an en-route stop for lunch in Hoima Town arriving Fort Portal town towards evening. The trip will reward you with stunning beautiful perspectives of the Rift Valley and also local villages of the Bunyoro and Batooro Kingdoms. Queen Elizabeth National Park hosts a large variety of wildlife and boasts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any National park in the country, from the open Savannah to Rain forest, thick swamps and wonderful crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. You will reach and check in your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Simba Safari Camp/Ihamba Safari Lodge
Day 4: Game drive and Launch Cruise
After having a heavy breakfast at the lodge, you will set out for the morning game drive in the Kasenyi area. Here pay special mind to animals, for example, the Lions, Buffaloes, Leopard, Elephants, Kobs, Antelopes and many more. Come back to your lodge for lunch and toward the evening, set out for the Launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This will give you the chance to view wildlife up close, for example, hippo’s huff and spray mere feet far from the boat, buffalo linger in the shallows. The shores of the channel are additionally home to several bird species incorporating pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others. After this marvelous afternoon, a slow drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
After having a heavy breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park famously known as the Ishasha sector known for the rare tree climbing lions in Fig and acacia trees. Here you will see tree-climbing lions and also different animals in the sector. Continue with your journey to Bwindi National Park arriving in the evening. Have dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas/Gorilla Resort/gorilla Mist Camp/Nkuringo Gorilla Camp/wagtail Eco Safari Camp.
Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After early morning breakfast, you will then drive to the park headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing and direction of the activity. After this, you will be joined by equipped ranger guide in the forest to track for the Mountain Gorillas. You will penetrate through the forest, cutting the undergrowth, separating thick creepers, to track gorillas. The time taken to track the Gorillas is unpredictable since it depends on the movement of the gorillas in a quest for nourishment and shelter. Be that as it may, it can take from 2 to 9 hours. You will have a maximum of one hour with the gorillas and this will allow you to observe, take photos and interact with them. Return again to your lodge for dinner and overnight as on day 5.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala with lunch en route in Mbarara town. You will arrive at Kampala drop off will be at your Hotel in Kampala or at the Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
