Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After having heavy morning breakfast at your hotel, you will drive to the western part of the country to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is located approximately 367 kilomtres southwest of Kampala. The park is the most popular tour destination in Uganda with a the variety of ecosystems, which incorporate sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, spartling lakes and fertile wetlands, make it the perfect habitat for the amazing big game, 10 primate species including chimpanzees and more than 600 bird species. Upon your arrival in the park you will enjoy a game drive through Ishash Sector where you will have a great opportunity to spot some the tree climbing lions in Fig and acacia trees and also other animals in the area. Have your dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Ihamba Safari Lodge/Simba Safari Camp.
Day 2: Game drive in Park and Launch Cruise on Kazinga Channel
After have a heavy breakfast at the lodge, you will transfer for the game drive in the Kasenyi area of the park where you will be rewarded with the view of different animals in the park, for example the Buffaloes, Lions, Leopard, Kobs, Elephants, Antelopes and many more. After this amazing game drive, you will come back to your lodge for lunch and toward in the evening, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This will give you the chance to view wildlife up close, for example buffalo linger in the shallows, hippo’s huff and spray mere feet far from the boat. Day 3: Chimps Tracking Kyambura Gorge – Queen Elizabeth National Park

The Chimpanzee population in Kyambura Gorge is not stable and watching them can be unpredictable however the walk through this place itself is charming. After this great chimps tracking adventure, you will return to the lodge for lunch, in the afternoon after lunch you will enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, the channel streams between Lakes Edward and George. The channel is known for its great concentration of hippo in Africa, heads of elephant, wild ox and different creatures come to drink at the waters edge. Kazinga Channel also host different species of birds like pelicans and many others. After this great adventure, you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge as on day 2.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Forest Home of Mountain Gorillas
After having a heavy breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through the Ishasha sector known for the rare tree climbing lions in Fig and acacia trees in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here you will see tree climbing lions and also different animals in the sector. Continue with your journey to Bwindi National Park arriving in the evening. Have dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma Community Bandas / Nkuringo Gorilla Camp / Gorilla Mist Camp / Wagtail Eco Safari Camp.
Day 5: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After early morning breakfast you will then drive to the park headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing and direction of the activity. After this, you will be joined by equipped ranger guide in the forest to track for the Mountain Gorillas. You will penetrate through the forest, cutting the undergrowth, separating thick creepers, to track gorillas. The time taken to track the Gorillas is unpredictable since it depends on the movement of the gorillas in quest for nourishment and shelter. Be that as it may, it can take from 2 to 9 hours. Day 6: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you will leave for Mgahinga Gorilla National Park the journey takes you through bamboo forests and then mountain roads to the Kanaba Gap with its breathtaking perspectives of the Virunga Volcanoes Forests. The journey will also take your through the terraced hills to the wildness town of Kisoro. You will continue to the park for dinner and overnight at Mount Gahinga Lodge / Bunyonyi Overland Resort / Mountain Gorilla Safari Hotel.
Day 7: The Batwa Experience – Cultural Tour
Have breakfast at the lodge and experience the lives of the Batwa Pygmies, and walk the Batwa Trail. Joined by Batwa Elders, this is a great chance to learn more about the unique culture Batwa people commonly known as the keepers of the forests. Whilst you stroll through the forest, the Batwa will exhibit their customary hunting techniques and knowledge of medicinal plants. You will likewise visit the hallowed Ngarama caver and enjoy the traditional music and dance of this rich and fading culture. On the other hand there are other amazing activities for those intrigued by the culture and natural history of Mgahinga. After this unique cultural tour, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your lodge as on day 6.
Day 8: Nature Walk and Transfer to Rwanda
After breakfast at the lodge, you will take a guided nature stroll through the Mgahinga gorilla National Park to track the golden monkeys. The path takes you from the bamboo stands and a forested chasm on the lower levels to the hoisted heath and moorland higher up. Besides rare golden monkeys, the forest is also home to different extraordinary bird species and animal life. After this primates tracking adventure, you will return to the lodge for lunch and then transfer to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda. Have dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge / Kinigi Guesthouse / Sabyinyo Silverback / LodgeVirunga Lodge.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park – Rwanda
After having a breakfast at the lodge, you will go to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for briefing on rules and regulations fallowed while you’re in the jungle with gorillas and Gorilla group allocation. After this you will be accompanied by an experienced ranger guide and penetrate into the forest for a great gorilla trekking adventure. The gorilla trekking activity is somehow tiresome however once you meet the Gorillas, you will doubtlessly disregard all the hardships you experienced to see the Gorillas. Once your track and find these gentle giants you’re allowed to stay with them for a maximum of one hour which will give you a chance to observe them and take photographs. Day 10: Dian Fossey Tombs Hike / Golden Monkey Tracking
After breakfast at the lodge, you will either choose to go for golden monkey tracking in the Volcanoes National Park or visiting Dian Fossey’s original scientific base Karisok. Diane Fossey was an American zoologist who undertook an extensive study of gorilla groups over a period of 18 years, she spend all her life protecting gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Dian Fossey was murdered in 1985; the case remains open. After this great adventure, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Transfer to Kigali City
Have breakfast at the lodge and get ready to transfer to Kigali city. Before you drive to the airport, you may have a city tour and visit the genocide memorial sites, visit local markets, art and craft shops, do last minute shopping and then transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight back home.
